Husband had fond memories of visiting Virginia City, Nevada as a kid, and since it was a short way off our route, we decided to make the sidetrip. When we got there, we discovered that it was not a good day for us to do so. It seems there was an "event". About 5000 motorcycles were in town--and town is not very large. We drove through and found our lunch elsewhere.
